Soul Speak #23 (Jun 29/20) - What does it mean to be "sensual"?

This is one of my older instalments from June 29, 2020... I call it my "retro" series.

We are told by Jesus to "Deny your self". What did He mean by that? What is self? Is it not our 5 senses [from which we get the word sensual which has nothing to do with being sexy, btw] that constantly define for us false realities?! We are also told that 'Faith' is the evidence of things not "seen" [or sensed], but rather "imagined as already happened". Matt 11:24

So to "deny self" probably has very little to do with denying yourself the pleasure of a beer, cigarette or piece of pie, but rather denying your 'senses' from making the 'matrix' look real to you. Examples: I am poor, I am sick, I have no talents, I am afraid of... --- all of these are declarations of the 'sense' self, because it cannot see beyond the veil of who you really are... a spirit being, fathered by God.

One very strong example of letting the [self] 'senses' rule one's perception is the idea that "I am worthless" and this will create a false reality of a very difficult life as a result. This requires "renewing of the mind".

To be in 'faith' then would be perceiving [through imagination and faith] the reality that lies beyond... in the unseen world. And in the 'eyes' of the unseen world, you are not worthless but of great value.
