EP #71! Dismantling new 8 acre Picker's Paradise land investment! FIXING MAJOR POND DAM WASHOUT!

EPISODE #71! (BOBCAT MINI EX & BOBCAT T650 FILLING IN MASSIVE POND DAM WASHOUT)of what will be a long journey on this Southern Illinois 8 acre property investment! It looks much more like a JUNK YARD, but we (kind of) think we know what we are doing, LOL! This is real world real estate investing and not some scripted flip or flop hype show! Join us here for this 70th episode and many more to come as we begin to tackle this investment property cleanup. In today's episode we will FINISH filling in and repairing a massive pond dam washout with the Bobcat e42 mini excavator and the Bobcat T650 CTL skid steer. After we get the pond dam washout filled in, we will compact it, then add 2 12 inch culvert pipes for pond overflow pipes, and then add a couple more feet of fill to finish out the pond dam repair. Stay tuned for the next episodes to see the emergency spillway installed and down the road after some heavy rains to see how it all works! (or maybe doesn't work?) Be sure to stay tuned for the remaining episodes as we are now cleaning this property up! Mrs. Kapper will be working on salvaging stuff from the old homesite, the chicken coop, old barn boards, rustic tin and smaller items, and Curtis Rogers (the new land owner) will be working all of the logistics for selling items, working with scrappers and scrap yards, dumpsters, transportation of certain items, and all other land administrative items and I will be helping out with the dirty work, bringing in my machines!! Woo Hoo!! Doesn't this all sound like fun!! Of course it is CERTAIN to be another life learning experience, but hey, hopefully Curtis can make some profit on this one when it is all said and done and we can bring you a very fun, yet educational special DIY series on how all of this stuff works.
