Soul Speak #03 - Feb 18/20 - A Recap of my Christian Life of 30 years. (Retro Reload)

This is a "Retro" instalment of one of my earlier writings from back in February 18, 2020. If you follow my channel, you will notice a progression in expanded understanding. :)

We should not define ourselves by any 'belief system' or 'label/definition' when we desire an expanding flow of truth into ourselves. A phrase so often used is "think outside the box"... and God for all that He is, does not fit in any of the boxes that man has created. Any 'boxes' that we have encountered along the way beginning at Sumer, Egypt, Judea, Rome, Tibet etc.etc. were merely the beginning stages of mankind coming into 'memory' (awareness) of the Divine and their pen strokes of the things they began to understand and realise. Scripture makes a reference that we are 'going from glory to glory' which to me simply means... our understanding of all that is (natural/spiritual/metaphysical) continually grows to new levels (ascending).
The descending and ascending was not only reserved for Jesus Christ. We likewise descended as children of God, and must ascend back to heaven. Hebrews 2.
When we read the Bible, we have to keep in mind that everything is based on Hebrew culture and religion, particularly the religion of Judaism...deeply based in blood "sacrifices".
It is for this reason, Jesus (God incarnate) stepped within the context of "blood sacrifice" in order to bring REDEMPTION from that system. The Hebrew Law was an imprisonment, not righteousness.
What did Jesus first utter upon commencing His ministry? He read from the book of Isaiah “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free," Luke
I spent many of my Christian years "availing myself of God's grace"... and I will admit it was hard work and not a lot of fun. After approximately 30 years of "trying" to experience grace, I found myself laying on my bed one night in desperation and exhausted by my Christian experience that I called out yet once again - "Jesus, please don't let me miss your purpose for my life, before I pass from this world!".

Everything changed for me after that... a spiritual "earthquake" of a magnitude 10 hit me and EVERYTHING I had built came crumbling down, including my faith! For 2 weeks I was wondering whether I should just choose the atheist route or see if there is another way with God.
There was another way with God, and it is called "Encountering Jesus". (Today, 2 years on from writing this I call this an encounter with Christ Consciousness) I know that phrase is used a lot, but for the first time I knew what it meant. When I wasn't "availing myself" of anything, He (It) just appeared...dropped in on me.

And He (Divine Spirit) does this every day now, I don't have to go looking for Him (It) by doing devotions or reading my Bible. He (Divine Spirit) wakes me in the morning with something that would look like this "What do you think about this (random topic)? And then sometimes He will say, Why don't you go look that up in the Bible, and I will teach you what it means. We just talk like friends do.

Walking "in the spirit" is simply being aware of His presence within us. When one is conscious of Him, you begin living under the sweet influence of His Spirit...by osmosis. He is always there, breaking in on my life when I am not even looking for Him.

But I am in love with Him now, and as lovers are... their hearts are always connected. He reads my heart before I even know what to express, and He brings me "chocolate" (inspiration) to make my joy full. Grace is truly a GIFT... getting to experience Jesus in this real and living way... this comforting way makes this life of devotion a lot of FUN.

There is no room for "sin consciousness", when you know you are unconditionally accepted by Love. It makes one "son" conscious and the thing that occupies our "space" (in mind, soul and heart) is what will push out to the surface.

Spirit does not come from the Bible, He (It) comes when we gain "Awareness" that He is inside... shadowing you, if you will. And awareness is not a thing of the "logical" mind tho, it is "seeing" (an illumination or flash/lightning) with your inner eye.

The phrase "every eye shall see Him" is probably not talking about physical eyes seeing Jesus coming in the clouds... but the "eye of consciousness" seeing the "lightning" (getting lit up) by God.

I hope this helps in at least showing that it keeps getting better with Jesus and He has some wonderful things to surprise us with. 🙂

PS: Oh and I did forget to mention that there is no "work" or "effort" required to maintain this relationship with Jesus. This is truly what the Bible calls "Sabbath rest".
