Awaken the Masses 2: Convoy & Anti Mandate Protest at New Zealand Parliament (Part 1 of 2)

It began with a convoy, which came from all parts of the North and South Island of New Zealand, and it turned into an anti vaccine mandate and anti Covid-19 restrictions protest in the grounds of parliament in Wellington.

The protest, which came to be known as Camp Freedom or Freedom Village, occupied parliament grounds for three weeks, from the 8th of February to the 2nd of March 2022, which is when police tore the camp down and brutally removed the protestors. This film, made by Richard Gannaway-Wong, brilliantly documents it all.
