Old Amish Built Cabin in the Woods. Can we do a home rehab and save it from DEMOLITION???

We just signed a purchase contract on a really nice 40 acre piece of land here in Southern Illinois and it has an old 2 story rustic cabin in the woods that has to either be; A) Demolished and cleaned up, or B) completely renovated and brought back to life! Our initial decision was clear (or so we thought), that it was just too far gone to do a property or old home rehab on it... However, now that we are taking closer looks at the place and using our 'pickers' imaginations, we MIGHT be able to try to pull off a DIY rustic home rehab on this place and save it from the dumpsters!
