Ukrainian artillerymen destroyed Russian Buk missile system.
The Russian Buk missile system was destroyed by soldiers of the 95th Air Assault Brigade, 4 Tank Brigade, 27th Rocket Artillery Brigade, specialists of the Zhytomyr Military Institute of Radioelectronics S.P. Korolyov.
The Ukrainian Air Assault Forces Command published the video of the artilleryman's work.
“The SAM of enemies is burning very well. A show that can be watched forever,” the statement reads.
The video shows that the occupiers were hiding the equipment in the forest, but it was identified and destroyed.
The servicemen discovered a launcher and two self-propelled howitzers.
The work of artillery was adjusted by a drone.
The hideout did not help the occupiers to save the equipment from the fire.
The Ukrainian Air Assault Forces Command noted that the system was destroyed “along with the personnel.”
The Buk is a medium-range multi-role anti-aircraft missile system designed to destroy aircraft, cruise missiles, helicopters, and other air targets. This anti-aircraft missile system can be used for the air defense of troops, military facilities, important administrative, industrial, and other locations to protect them from massive aerial attacks, and might also be a module of tactical missile defense.
