The first group of Ukrainian fighters surrenders at the besieged Mariupol Azov Steel Plant. Some of the wounded have been taken to hospitals in the Donetsk region. Despite the surrender of the troops at the plant the western media joins Kiev, in portraying the situation as an evacuation in what some are seeing as an information war. China lashes out at the G7 - telling it to mind its own business and not to ignite colored revolutions around the world - after the group demands Beijing halts its support for Russia.
