Sen. Cruz: The government should not take away the right to self-defense from law abiding citizens.

During the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on May 18, Sen. Ted Cruz reminded Democrats that every Democrat has voted in favor of a prosecutor that advocated for abolishing the police and another who refused to prosecute crimes including trespassing, shoplifting, breaking and entering, and resisting arrest. These actions have consequences.
