Peter didn’t necessarily agree with Jesus when Jesus asked him to throw the nets back in the water. Peter had already tried and caught nothing. Yet, Peter said, “At Your Word, I’ll do it.” There’s a timing, a different space, something that we might not be aware of. At God’s Word, whether it makes sense or not or we understand it or not. the Bible reveals who we are. When you are a doer of the Word and submit to it, that is more powerful than anything else. the Bible is meant to show you who you are. Peter obeyed God, threw the nets back in the water and caught so much fish his boat was sinking AND his friend’s boat too! Trust God, even if you don’t agree or understand, and see what happens!
