Ayahuasca with Kichwa Shamana Mama Celia

A few days ago myself and a couple of our first small group of llumiGnati retreat guests had the immense honor of sitting in ceremony with Kichwa shamana Mama Celia. Mama Celia is a 63 year old Kichwa shamana. She was given away to her grandparents, both shaman, at the age of three. She lived in the jungle entirely, dividing her time between the caverns, lagoons, and forests. She did not learn a single syllable of Spanish until age 13, and saw a town for the first time at 17. She is among the last of her kind. Her spritely spirit, gleaming smile, and infinite energy and ethusiasm are both humbling and inspiring to behold. She can call the animals with a snail shell whistle, carry a a basketfull of copal strapped to her forehead up a mountain through the mud on 3 hours of sleep, all the while stopping to gleefully exlain the names and uses of every plant in her path.
