SUMMARY & PERSONAL THOUGHTS
Going into this Correction, I knew I had my work cut out for me. This thing's paint was BEAT UP. As you saw in the opening clips, it was rough. The first thing I had to do though was get the car washed and decontaminated. We used the combination of Meguiar's D101 APC mixed with some Shampoo Plus as the pretreatment foam, matched with a bottle of D101 + boars hair detail brush to get into all of the nitty gritty areas. After that, we washed and performed a chemical decon., and that alone made a massive difference!

After getting the car clayed down, it was obvious it had been quite a long time since this car got some in-depth attention. It was heavily contaminated turning my white clay bar into a more or less tan one. Once again, that made a massive difference in gloss as it is, but once I started cutting into the paint, finally started to get somewhere. Although when you're cutting deep into paint it doesnt look too pretty, its when you begin to refine the cutting with Polish that it starts to be amazing. It really made the car look insane.

The only word that comes to mind when seeing this car after refining and coating is Silk. The car physically looked as soft as silk, it was insane. I don't think I've ever had this much liking towards a vehicle that I've done other than the red C43 AMG I did a bit back. Especially after spending 3-4 hours on restoring the exhaust tips and coating the wheels, the car looked like a COMPLETELY different vehicle than when it first pulled up in my drive way.

Overall, an amazing experience. Obviously its a lot of hard work, but its all worth it for those final shots. And the fact I get to share the experience with you guys makes it ALL the better!!
