She's a Regular Dixie Flyer

The Mayor made it a point, on Saturday nights long ago, to tune into the Prairie Home Companion to hear Garrison Keillor and his crew hold court for two hours. The Mayor even saw the show live once and was amazed at how Garrison completely adlibbed his way through his monologue about what was happening in Lake Woebegone that week and can state for the record that Keillor used no script nor any notes - it just poured out of him.

The Mayor has always thought that there had to be a way to do a commercial version of that kind of program with the end result being "The Dixie Flyer Radio Hour" which will be a part of the Global Entertainment Technology, Inc. ("GET") programming system. It's also a personal paen from the Mayor to his grandfather who used to be an engineer on the Dixie Flyer years ago.

So, this segue represents Prairie Home Companion at its nadir with a promo for The Dixie Flyer Radio Hour and then the full version of "Dixie Flyer" by Travis Tritt.

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element and The Dixie Flyer Radio Hour will be another element too. It's all Internet Radio "Theatre of the Mind" that’s a part of GET that was created by Dain L. Schult.
