As part of our sourdough series we use the wood Cookstove to use up some sourdough discard.

For the cornbread
1 c sourdough starter
1 c Buttermilk
2 eggs
1/3 c sugar
1/2 c melted butter
1 c ap flour
1 c cornmeal
1/2 tea salt
2 tea baking powder
1/2 baking soda

Bake 350 35-45 min

For the Scones
2 c and 1 Tbs flour
1/2 c sugar
1/2 tea salt
2 tea baking powder
1/2 c sourdough
1 egg
2 tea vanilla
2 tbs 2/3 and 1/2
1 to 1 1/2 c mix ins

Cream and sugar topping
Bake 500 20-25 min
