Pileh lagoon

🏝 Pileh Lagoon is located next to Phi Phi Ley Island, famous for its Maya Bay. The filming of The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio took place here. Geographically belongs to the province of Krabi in Thailand.
 
Pileh Lagoon is the deepest lagoon in Thailand, formed as a result of a break in the earth's crust. Thanks to the limestone rocks at the bottom, the color of the water is simply unrealistically beautiful, as if you are looking through a Photoshop filter.
 
Thais believe that bathing in this lagoon has a rejuvenating effect due to the composition of the water. It is saltier here than in the Andaman Sea.
