Peaches in Bloom! 4-09-21

Pretty peaches in pink today! Now all we need are some sunny, calm days for the bees...Stan sprayed the peaches with Captan earlier in the week to prevent peach leaf curl--we'll see if that helps at all. Captan was great for the Concord grape last year; no black spot to spoil the crop.

The rhubarb is flourishing--not quite tall enough to be worth cutting yet, though. Also an update on the pepper and tomato plants in the shed. And Rocket is up a tree. Again.

In the video, I couldn't remember the name of the tart cherry we planted last year. I looked it up in the catalog: Carmine Jewel. I don't think I'll ever remember that...not common like our Montmorency. But it is blooming its little heart out!

Until next week or whenever things start sprouting in the garden, then. Thanks for watching; thanks for subscribing!
