Fox Sports Commentator Predicts The Chicago Bears Will Make NFL Playoffs

Chicago Bears rumors are getting heated up with the summer coming and Bears rookie minicamp and OTAs getting started. Nick Wright of First Things First on Fox Sports predicted that the Bears would be making the NFL Playoffs this season with a great sophomore effort from Justin Fields. In unfortunate NFL news, Tarik Cohen appears to have suffered another leg injury that adds to a long list of unfortunate circumstances for the free agent running back. Cohen was released by the Bears in March and was just getting back from his torn ACL and MCL.Show more

In Bears roster news, Shon Coleman has been signed while the Bears have waived punter Ryan Winslow. Coleman hasn’t played in an NFL game since 2017 which is when he started 16 games for the Cleveland Browns at right tackle. The Bears appear to be rolling with rookie punter Trenton Gill now that Winslow is gone. In other Bears OTA news, Matt Eberflus revealed at his press conference that rookie CB Kyler Gordon has been “lighting it up.” Gordon is expected to start opposite of Jaylon Johnson in the Bears’ secondary.
