You may have heard a lot about inflation and “CPI” recently given that the US is currently experiencing its worst inflation in nearly half a century. CPI stands for the consumer price index and it is the most notable measure of inflation. But some argue that the CPI does not tell the whole story and that inflation is even higher than the CPI figure quoted by the government.
