Watercolor Landscape Tutorial for Beginners

In this Easy Watercolor Landscape Tutorial for Beginners video, I demonstrate how to paint a country landscape in watercolor using a combination of wet-in-wet and wet-on-dry watercolor techniques.

Tips: Paint the sky and the ground first, leaving a light wash of yellow ochre/orange on the houses. By cutting around the houses, you can preserve the lighter areas to imply sunlight. I also add some darker trees around the sides and behind the houses to further contrast and emphasize the lighter areas. I've also added some figures to provide a sense of scale.
