In this episode, I speak to playwright Charles Robertson. We discuss writing a one-person show for someone else, self-producing, and the benefits of self-publishing. We also discuss how working in different positions in theatre can help with playwriting. It was my second time speaking with Charles as my audio in our first interview was absolutely horrendous. I hope you walk away with some insightful information from this episode.

Charles Robertson is a playwright and director based in Kinston, Ontario. He has written a number of plays for young people, including Pretty Pieces, Ghost of the Tree, and Til the Boys Come Home. His recent play Josiah Henson - From Slave to Savior, starring Cassel Miles, has been touring across Canada and the U.S.
