INGREDIENTS
1 pound lean ground beef
2 ounces Roth Cheese Havarti, cubed into 8 cubes
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon oregano
Olive oil spray
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Divide the ground beef into eight equal portions. Flatten each portion into a circle. Place a cheese cube in the middle of each circle. Shape each circle into a meatball, sealing well.
In a shallow bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Sprinkle the seasoning over the meatballs, making sure to get all sides.
Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet. Spray them with olive oil. Bake until browned and cooked through, about 20 minutes. Allow to rest 5 minutes before serving.
