Surrounded By Socialists In Berlin

Charlene, Billy and Corey talk with Andy about his experience growing up in West Berlin surrounded by Communists and Socialists. Andy grew up in the westernized part of Berlin that was the part of the territory controlled by the allies after the end of World War II. To move throughout Germany, he had to travel through Russian Communist/Socialist controlled territory. He talks about what happened after the wall came down and East and West Germany were reunited. As an immigrant to the United States of America, for over 25 years, he still believes in and continues to experience America as The Land of Opportunity where anyone can accomplish their grandest goals and dreams no matter their background or circumstances.
