Troyanda Ukrainian Dance Club Jig At The Yates Theatre - May 16, 2022 - Micah Quinn

Dancing and joy was abundant coming out of the Yates Theatre on Sunday night. The Troyanda Ukrainian Dance Club held an event to raise funds for the people of Ukraine. Some of the funds will go to the Canadian-Ukraine Foundation to help deliver aid to those most in need. The dance club also hosted Grade 3 students from across Lethbridge on Monday to show what Ukrainian culture and heritage looks like.

Final numbers are still being added up. Some of the funding will go toward supporting members of the club who have brought family members from Ukraine to Canada as the war with Russia rages on.
