Since Lyndon B Johnson took over for the late John F Kennedy as a result of his public execution that occurred in Dallas November 22nd 1963. Johnson birth a new direction for America, Drastically different than his predecessor's approach in, "What can you do for country." President Johnson created a what can Government do for you approach and used social justice issues of the time to relegate power to the government to be able to solve major democratic issues that might have had greater success had it been left to the states. Government has had an interesting ability to earn public trust to handle social issues and create even bigger and broader issues while never quailing the issues Government assumed responsible. Our hopes in this series is to clear up any misconceptions and how government spends an enormous amount of time gaining trust that would in turn result in gaining more power.
