QUESTION: DOES THE BIBLE MAKE A CASE FOR A PRE- TRIBULATION RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH?
Before we begin...many theologians and Bible scholars have debated the exact end times timeline. We hold to a pre-tribulation rapture view. To simplify, we believe the “rapture” of the church

Road Signs For The End Times Prophecy and Last Days
will take place BEFORE the tribulation period. I believe God will protect his church from the darkest days of mankind. Why do I hold to this view?

1. The Idea of “Rapture” Has Already Been Established In The Old Testament -Noah was rescued from the flood in an ark from judgment. (Genesis 6) -Lot and his family were rescued from the judgment of Sodom (Genesis 19)

2. The Anti-christ and Satan will need full power and control on earth. As long as the church is present, “the gates of hell” will not prevail against her.
-The Church is not mentioned at in Revelation 6-18
-The NT Epistles do no give instruction for how the church should conduct themselves in the end times
Some others suggest that the Rapture takes place in the middle of the tribulation or even after the tribulation period. There are even other scholars who suggest that there is no rapture at all. For the sake of argument, I will speak from a rapture that takes place before the tribulation period.
