Today's Chicago Bears Rumors & News come from Bears Now host Harrison Graham:
- Mike Golic Jr. recently said that Justin Fields and the Bears have a “long shot” chance to be this year’s Joe Burrow and the Bengals. Golic hopped on a DraftKings podcast and said he believes that Bears new offensive coordinator Luke Getsy will help unlock Justin Fields potential and that Chicago has a chance to make a Bengals-like leap this year. Will Fields and the Bears shock some people during the 2022 NFL Season?
- Pro Football Focus suggests the Bears should sign free agent LT Duane Brown. Larry Borom is currently slated to start at left tackle for Chicago, but Brown would likely be a veteran upgrade on a potential 1-year contract. Brown and Eric Fisher are 2 solid LT options remaining in 2022 NFL Free Agency.
- Chicago Bears OTAs are underway as offseason workouts continue at Halas Hall. The Bears have 9 voluntary workouts between now and June 9th before mandatory minicamp takes place from June 14-16. These practices will be critical as first-year head coach Matt Eberflus looks to install his culture and schemes for the Chicago Bears.
