When Josiah was 12-weeks-old in the womb, he was diagnosed with a lower urinalysis tract obstruction. This made him incapable of emptying his bladder, causing his urine to back up into his kidney and resulting in complete renal failure.

Every doctor told Josiah's mother, Narina, that there was nothing they could do and that her only options were to abort Josiah or carry him to term, knowing that he wouldn't live very long.

After doing her own research, Narina found a doctor in Dallas, TX, that had experience dealing with Josiah's condition.

At 20-weeks, Narina traveled to Dallas and received a new & experimental procedure called an amnioport to give Josiah a chance at life.

Now, Josiah is home on dialysis while he awaits a kidney transplant. He is proving all those original doctors wrong with his incredible life!
