On April 11th, 2021 a rash of white supremacist demonstrates were planned across America called "White Lives Matter" protests. On the day of the event, nothing happened. Counter-protesters overran the event sites and used the opportunity to preach their own political ideologies. In Huntington Beach in Virginia there was unrest, but many of the other sites remained utterly uneventful. However, the principles behind the statement "white lives matter" merit examination, especially in today's racially-tense society. Mr. Watson asks a single question: What principled difference, if any, is there between Black Lives Matter and White Lives Matter? He breaks down both frameworks between practice and theory, proving that both movements are different in practice but perhaps quite similar in theory.
