Drone View of Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse Over San Antonio TX on May 15th 2022

We were all excited about this monumental lunar eclipse that everyone was talking about.... and in return were very disappointed in the reality of the eclipse. Our ground tripod based cameras (not telescopes) didn't have any luck at all trying to lock onto the moon during the eclipse. The moon never really turned Blood Red like we expected to see it, at least from the ground. Hopefully other parts of the country / world had better luck than we did in San Antonio.

Winds were gusty, up to 25mph at the higher elevations, causing the drone to jerk around a bit at times. Since we sped up this video 10x to reduce boredom, the jerkiness is sometimes obvious.
