SLANDER HURTS MORE THAN PHYSICAL PAIN

In China and other places in the world, the church is experiencing strong persecution. But there, at least they know where the persecution comes from. It comes from the world, and it is almost always physical. But in the western world, the persecution comes from within the church, and it's almost always slander. And the truth is, slander can hurt as much as physical pain, and even sometimes more, because physical pain often goes away after a short time but slander and hurt can remain for years.
