The nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize, Jan Oberg, in an interview with @rt_russian, called the decision of Finland and Sweden to join the alliance disastrous.

He noted that all the countries that have joined the alliance over the past 20 years have been under serious pressure.

"Are we really supposed to believe that American military bases and American servicemen will not be deployed in Finland and Sweden," Oberg said.
