"☀️&🌙 Hive" Part 1: Transferring Abandoned LANGSTROTH Hive to LAYENS (Found an EMERGENCY QUEEN!)

A few weeks ago, the Suburban Sodbuster came and helped me transfer the hive in my Langstroth hive to a Layens, 20-frame horizontal hive.

We took it apart and transferred it over piece by piece. We even found the queen! But things weren’t quite right… There was no brood. 😨

I also learned four things along the way that I’m happy to pass along.
