Where the Wind Comes Sweeping Down the Plains | A Weekend on the Homestead VLOG

Come spend the weekend with our family. This weekend we planted tomatoes. We also attempted to lay down weed cloth for our melon and pumpkin patch without blowing away! Makayla gives an update on her Flower Hill Farm Grow Along, her snapdragons, basil, baby's breath, rudbeckia, sunflowers and zinnias are all in the ground! Hopefully she will have an amazing cut flower garden going soon. Taylor finally reveals the top secret sewing project she was working on during our last VLOG. She made a super amazing gift for her friend Jaydon's birthday- the cloak of levitation from Dr. Strange. Meet Makayla's pet lionhead bunny and see how much our farm puppy Zeus has grown! Join us for a hotdog cookout by the pond before the rain set in. One of the highlights of our VLOG is the candling of our duck eggs!!! We cannot wait to update you on their hatching process. Makayla shares her beautiful new orchid which she bought with her own money. And finally, we got a spot at the local Ada, OK farmer's market! Kristy started miniature okra plants to sell.
