COPPER WIRE MELTDOWN/COPPER INGOT/SCRAPPING COPPER WIRE/ devil forge / #backyardmelting

Hello everyone 👋🏻

This week I melted a bunch electric wires I found.
I spend hours stripping these and a bunch I couldn’t use the electric stripper,
because they were to short😔.

But all of you kept me motivated to keep going 👍🏻.

As you can see, the first pour wasn’t that good so I remelted the ingot. It only took 15-20 minutes with the devil forge 😁. The second pour was a bit better. Still got some holes in the ingot🤔. I wonder why that is.. After the mold was cooled down, I sanded it and I hope it helped. We will see next week😉.
