PowerSonic Bluetooth Lithium Battery - DIY low voltage recovery | PSL Smart Battery app overview

Hello folks, I got this PowerSonic PSL-BTC-1290 Bluetooth enabled battery for super cheap, as it was dead and they were unable to revive it. With some brute force, i broke into the casement to put the charger bypassed the BMS to wake the BMS, After the BMS was woken i could then put everything back in its shell and seal it up. Charging would now work normally and i can use the "PSL Smart Battery" app to look at some information about the battery.

PowerSonic makes some great lithium batteries. These Bluetooth enabled batteries are mediocre at best but are great SLA drop-in replacements with a very easy method to communicate with the BMS, I guess i prefer a CANBUS or RS-485 connection with much better software...

Stay tuned for more fun with these great batteries and more!
