One Puff Review: H. Upmann 1844 Reserve

Although it's nearly impossible to find a legit Cuban cigar in the U.S., you can still get a sampling of Cuban heritage by lighting up H. Upmann 1844 Reserve. Outside you'll find an oily Ecuadorian-grown Habano wrapper that conceals a Nicaraguan binder along with a hearty blend of Dominican long leaves. While smooth and never leaving the realm of medium-bodied, your palate will be graced with creamy morsels of cedar, pepper, and earth with a touch of sweetness on the finish. Thoroughly enjoyable any time of day, there's no wonder why this Cuban brand received a '93' rating.
