Building a Farm Road | Shots Life

Watch in this episode as Shot builds a road on to his farm, using his John Deere 3120 Tractor, his John Deere 27D excavator and his International Durastar dump truck to bring in gravel from the quarry, along with using a Tarter box blade to smooth the gravel and post hole digger to install posts for the farm gate. Prior to the road he would cross his neighbors land and cut across for access, but he needed to cut his own access. The entrance to his farm is a steep hill. There was an old tractor path once but it had washed out and grown over, time for a change. The gravel will also allow him access when it is wet, prior to the road when it rained it was inaccessible.
