Examination of rain scald / rain rot, review new treatment. Also discuss horses conditions

As per usual, I stuffed up one of my videos (filmed vertically) of Penny after I applied this stuff. So that's in the thumbnail for the video.

Penny's rain scald is a little better since her first treatment of the new 'Equine Care'. I read about it, it floods the skin with 'good creatures' that eat all the bad critters.. that's as scientific as I'm getting.

The problem is, I don't have enough of the new treatment to keep treating all the horses with it. It states not to use other treatments as they can kill the good critters. I get that. So I'll treat Banjo with my old tried and true treatment and continue Penny with the new treatment. Keep an eye on the others and perhaps use my old treatment in a couple of days, to give the critters from the new treatment time to establish. You're supposed to use it every day and I won't have enough for that. The feed store is closed today, and at $79 a bottle, I won't be using more... Didn't think it through, but wanted to see how it goes.

I do have treatments that work.

I discuss the old horses' health and their rugs and of course Henry makes an appearance and so does the cat.

I'm feeding the three old horses approx 6 kg of feed per day.Well that's an average. So I'm not understanding why Cleo and Arthur are not packing on weight. I may have to feed them hay. I honestly think they spend too much time hanging around waiting to be fed and don't graze as much. They spend hours hanging around. I may have to set up a routine where they get one feed morning, one in evening, so they know to bugger off and graze.
