Mostly Brown Blossoms 4-23-21

Lori Fiechter with no good news about the peach, pear, and cherry blossoms and only a meager hope (echoes of Gandalf's "There never was much hope; Just a fool's hope") about a few of the apple blossoms.
For perspective, Habakkuk 3:17-19a "Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls,  yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.
GOD, the Lord, is my strength..."
The snow peas have a good stand, as does the lettuce and spinach. I already got enough rhubarb to make 3 batches of jam and a couple of batches of rhubarb sauce to freeze. Next week should be warm so the potatoes should come up; maybe Stan can finally take those huge pepper plants outside to harden them off before planting.
Brown blossoms are hard to take but life goes on.
