Bees in Threes

All flowers today--it is a beautiful (BEE-you-tee-full...) sunny August day so I spent some time bee-watching at noon. I went out to keep tabs on the mini monarchs who were madly chomping leaves again! Check out the geranium who planted herself and the real regal red Hibiscus.
Stan said today, "there is still a lot of sweet corn out there. I think next year we won't need to freeze any; we can just plant enough to eat." Pretty sure that's the first time he's ever said that!
