Cry now or Cry later

Remember that video with those huge onions? Well, too many of them have neck rot...we had to throw away maybe 1/3 of them. Some were just fine but others were in between. For those quasi-OK onions, I'll show you in this video what we did with the salvageable parts.
For next year, we'll need to pull them before a big rain in July. And if we notice any damage early, we can spray with copper. Probably will need to plant in a different location next year.
Don't count your onions before...they've cured!
