A Day At Bill Evans Dam Lake, Silver City, New Mexico

On BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land, there is an extraordinary Recreational Opprtunity open to the Public. Here, with a NM Fishing License and Habitat Stamp, you can find a great Camping right on Bill Evans Dam Lake, that also offers a ramp and dock for Boating, and the lake is stocked for Fishing several times a year, plus, of course, Swimming. There are also 2 vault toilet outhouses available, along with a large garbage/waste receptical on the West side of the lake. Verizon cell service is present, but slow.

A little Northwest of Silver City in the middle of May, Bill Evans Lake Dam is total bliss for me, finding an Oasis, an opportunity to come out of the parched desert that is the Southwest region of the US, if only for a little while...
