So far I drove for almost every company out there, and this time I tried driving people for LYFT using a Tesla Model Y.

My experience was not great - they automatically add rides to you if you are online which makes it difficult to manage your day without the ability to cancel rides properly.

Even worse is the pay - my results show that it pays around $16 per hour after all expenses. UBER did better for me as a driver, I earned about $2 more per hour while driving a bit less. You will get better results by using a very cheap long-range electric car, or a 50 mpg cheap hybrid.

I would recommend using LYFT for their bonuses and that's it - go drive for UBER after and make more.

Those are just my numbers, check yourself and tell me in the comments if you got a common number.

If Lyft watching this I will tell them - compare your prices and pay 1:1 to UBER, as they are the main players and pretty much set the prices. You can also find ways to reward your drivers in different ways that would make it worth it to make the switch.
