Are the trains good in Italy? Trenltalia vs Italo
Travelling by train in Italy is very comfortable, easy and affoardable. There's different type of trains you can get to move around, some are very cheap but they take longer to reach the destination, and sometimes they can be a bit old fashion. These are usually called 'Regionale' or 'Interregionale' Other ones, like the 'Intercity' ones are faster and very comfortable and the price is quite fare as well. Travelling by train can also be very interesting as you can get to see some areas of the country which you would probablh miss if travelling by car on the motorway. Many people, especially students or young travellers often purchase Interrail tickets which allow them to go through the whole country for weeks or even months at a much lower rate.
