This belt is designed for general pain relief but especially for muscle and deep tissue soreness and can be used on any part of the body apart from the head. It is best suited perhaps for the back and chest but can be used more or less anywhere you can get it to fit.

In the box is the pad and retaining belt itself together with a UK power supply and a well written and easy to read multi-language user guide. Build quality seems fine. The 20 cm by 40 cm pad is made from a heavy-duty reinforced soft felt like cloth with the array of Led’s, 60 visible light and 60 invisible, on the underside. The 120 cm belt again is heavy-duty and wraps around the pad with velcro to hold it in place. On the outside of the pad are the power-in port and the large backlit button to turn it on.

Using it could not be simpler, just wrap the pad around the affected area and secure it with the belt. Turn on using the large and easy to locate button, the button's internal status LED confirms operation and the unit will run for twenty minutes before turning off automatically. The device can be safely used several times each day if required. The deep red visible LEDs transmit in the 660nm frequency band and the invisible ones in the 880nm band. The red LED’s have a skin surface warming effect whilst the invisible ones a more deep and penetrating one. It is comfortable and supportive to wear for long periods if necessary and can be worn under clothing when watching the TV or reading, the only limitation being the power supply connection.

How well does it work? I certainly found some relief for a bad back but of course, the benefit will vary from person to person.

It is well made, easy and comfortable to use and can be stored rolled around the supplied tube although no case is included, which is a pity.

The price of 95.99 is not cheap but good things are worth paying for.

The Good
