This Kitchen Remodel on a BUDGET! | Home Renovation Part 3 | 2021/25

We are going to remodel a kitchen! New tile new paint and lights! This project has many aspects. The owner started the project by taking all the doors off the cabinets and pulling all the drawers, then stopped. This kitchen was a disaster and needed help. Lots of help! It was small dark and dreary!

The tile setter arrived, removed all the old tile, repaired the subfloor, and laid new porcelain 6:” x 24” tile. After the first take there was already a noticeable difference in the room. The remainder of the tile and all the grout was installed on the second day.

After the tile setter left, the real work started. Two coats of eggshell paint on the ceiling, a nice white high gloss on the cabinets, and a satin beige on the walls. All of the paint is Behr. Material costs were right around $200.00 for paint. Three days total.

After the majority of the painting was done, new light fixtures, baseboards, shelf paper, and all of the appliances were installed.
