When you're depressed on most days and lose interest in typical activities and relationships for at least 2 weeks or longer, it's called major depression or clinical depression. Fatigue, feelings of worthlessness, decreased attention, sleeplessness or hypersomnia, restlessness, or even suicidal thoughts are all signs of major depression.
