DIY Live Edge Oak Slab - First project for the Woodland Cabin Rehab!

Sharon here! We haven't even closed on the 40 acre wooded cabin property in Southern Illinois yet, but I can't wait!!!! My ideas for the rehab and rustic interior for the old hunting cabin are filling up my head already! Since I can't do anything in the house yet I'm working on some things I know I'll need later. This coat rack is from the salvaged wood slabs I got from my neighbor who has a new Woodmizer saw mill. What a great piece of white oak! A little sanding with the orbital sander, some lacquer and poly finish along with some rustic metal coat hooks and bam! You have yourself a one of a kind gorgeous piece that will fit perfectly in the rustic cabin.
