2022 Hillbilly Nationals demolition drag race FULL EVENT at National Trail Raceway!

5/7/2022 was a tough day for drag racing in the Midwest. Lots of rain and cancelled events, but not much could stop the Hillbilly Nationals demolition drag racing. It was 100% a rain or shine event and the crowd loved the carnage, wrecks and action. It was a little bit cold unfortunately, but I was there to catch the action for those of you that missed the show.

For those of you that don't know much about demolition drag racing, it's split into weight and power classes to help keep things fair. You'll have a compact car class and a V6+ class that includes large sedans and SUVs. The cars must touch once before the end of the 1/8th mile and the driver across the finish line first wins.
