How Deer Resistant Sage Grows From The Old Plant In Spring

This is the second season for my Sage plants and I wasn't sure how they grows from the year before. Do I cut the whole thing down in fall or leave it be? Does Sage grow from the bottom or does it grow from the limbs from last year. I answer these questions in the video.
