Superdan’s Cigar of the Year Review 2018!

2018 nearly in the books. Where does the time go. I reviewed 13 cigars this year and in this end of the year video, we work thru the best top 10 cigars till we hit number 1! And that's not all...we have our 2nd cigar give away. Review #1: H. Upmann 1844 Reserve Maduro Robusto, 2.5 stars, $6.25. A smooth sweet tabacco smoke, had major contruction issues (could be humidor from store). Minus contruction issues 3.5 stars
Review #2: Drew Estates Isla Del Sol in Robusto, 4.5 stars, $4.50. A coffee infused cigar with Sumatra and Nicaraguan binders and fillers. Delicious cigar esp. in morning or a cup of joe or desert or anytime.
Review #3: Room 101 Daruma Mutante Lancero, Overall=4.7 stars, Construction=4 stars, Flavor=5 stars!, Price=4 stars (I believe $9 a stick, but not sure). Complex flavors, smooth delicious smoke, ramps up in strength as it goes down the pole. Molasses, cheese undertone, cocoa, and leather and other taste components.
Review #4: Indian Head Rough Rider Sweet Cigar in Robusto. Overall=4.75 stars! Price=5 stars ($3.00 a stick), Construction=4.75 stars, Taste=4.25 stars. Tastes of sweet honey and smooth tobacco with a slight coffee molasses aftertaste.
Review #5: Sindicato Hex 2013. Overall: 2.9 stars. Construction: 2.75 stars, Taste: 3 stars, Price: 3 stars ($8 a stick). Tastes of light cocoa, leather, and earth with slight black pepper.
Review #6: Kentucky Fire Cured Swamp Rat. Overall: 3.7 stars, Construction: 3.8 stars, Price: 3.8 stars, Taste: 3.5 stars. BBQ/Molasses taste straight thru, made my mouth dry, slight pepper, will not be a go-to cigar but one I would smoke with friends.
Review #7: Drew Estates Undercrown Maduro Robusto. Overall: 4.3 stars,Construction:4.2 stars, Price: 4.0 stars, Taste: 4.5 stars. Pleasant spice with hints of vanilla, cookie, toasted coffee bean. Overall a good smoke with pleasant aroma.
Review #8: Isla Del Sol Maduro Gran Corona: Overall:4.0 stars, Taste:4 stars, Construction, 4.2 stars, Price:3.5 stars. An enjoyable smoke for those who like french roast coffee with cocoa. Mild cigar.
Cigar Review #9: El Titan De Bronze Redemption Maduro. Overall: 3.9 stars, Taste: 3.9 stars, Construction: 4 stars, Price: N/A. Medium to low full body strength, leather, herbal tea notes, and spicy tones.
Cigar Review #10: Illusione Cruzado Elitas.Overall: 3.9 stars, Price: 3.9 stars, Construction: 3.9 stars, Taste: 3.9 stars, Strong leather and floral components, little flavor transition.
Cigar review #11: 4 Kicks Maduro Lancero: Overall: 3.89 stars, Construction: 4.3 stars, Taste: 3.8 stars, Price: 3.7 stars. Mostly oak and dark tobacco flavor, a few hints of berry and vanilla. Full body strength.
Cigar Review #12: Tabak Especial Dulce Robusto: Overall:4.25, Taste: 4.5, Construction: 4.3, Price: 4. Strong Mild/weak Medium strength, sweet creamy spicy coffee taste, great gifting cigar.
Cigar Review #13: Tabak Especial Negra Robusto: Overall: 4.1 stars, Taste: 4.2 stars, Construction: 4 stars, Price: 4 stars. Sweet maduro dark tabacco taste with black coffee charred type taste. Mild to low medium strength.
